Almost the same shot as the other one on here, but facing the opposite direction (east). This is also taken standing up, as opposed to kneeling down. Full view recommended.
Update: After doing some research, I've found that this line belongs to the Kansas & Oklahoma shortline railroad, however this section of the K&O trackage is most likely out of service, as it's not shown on the company's trackage map. At one point, it was part of the Missouri Pacific rail system, and MP had trackage rights to this segment, but MP is no longer using the line for its system.
Beautiful shot. I love how all the lines head into the distance, even the poles running down the side of the track. It's a bit grainy but I'm guessing thats just the haze.
You can hear the horns in the distance and the ground shaking, but you still can see anything, then out of nowhere, 6 locomotives and a 2 mile long frieght come thundering out of the fog...
Again, mind me
Awesome shot...

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
