Description

A thunderstorm one night provided me with not one, but two great shots. Earlier that day it left me with what you see above.

These mammatus clouds are a sign of thermal instability within a storm, and are a sign that the storm is weakening, or that you're on the backside (where the main updraft cools rapidly and sinks, pushing the base clouds downward).

This picture is truly astounding. The timing to take such an incredible picture could not be better. It's not a boring picture either, it's like that picture perfect moment, that one time where you get a chance to take that million dollar picture, well i think it's this one. You couldn't of done any better because i think this is one of the best landscape pictures i have seen i a while. All credit goes to you and i believe if you keep up this amazing work, you will be very well known. Keep up the good work!!! And take more pictures, i would love to critique them <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)" />
