It's been awhile since I've had what amounts to a 3/4 roster shot. I guess it was time to get something back up close to one.
This was a tough shot to get. I was on the "wrong side" of the tracks, shooting against the sun a bit, and the shadows were harsh. Photoshop helped remedy that, but a high aperture also took care of some of it initially. I was pleased with the results.
Here, UP ES44AC (C45AC-CTE) #7700 has notched out heading east down the UP transcon on the Kansas City sub near Lawrence, KS on Main #2. UP SD70MAC #4424 and a double-stack consist with two autorack idlers, are in tow.
