The title sounds odd, but it reminded me of a julian-variation-based design that you'd see on a floor rug or something.
Originally rendered at 1600x1200, I upped the size to accomodate larger print sizes, thus it is now 3280x2330 (the aspect ratio is slightly wider and narrower from top to bottom).
Apophysis 2.04, border/text in PS CS.

Beautiful! i normally don't look at fractals..but this one caught my eye. I love the pattern.
